The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile, For Road Angel Navigator 7000 UPDATES only

For existing Road Angel Navigator 7000 owners only to update their alerts.

IMPORTANT: The Navigator 7000 does NOT support synchronization with any of the listed applications in the Missing Sync application window e.g. Entourage, calendar, tasks etc. Do not select any of the applications and do not press synchronize as it will not work. The Missing Sync will only allow you to install the Alerts on your Navigator 7000.

Important information about Missing Sync

Once you have installed Missing Sync you will need to follow the procedure below in order to allow the device to connect to your Mac.

Switch on the Road Angel Navigator 7000 using the slider switch on the back of the unit. Wait for the unit to start up and display the screen below.


Mac Requirements
  • PowerPC G4, G5, or Intel Core processor
  • Mac OS X Tiger v10.4.9 or later
  • Mac OS X Leopard v10.5 or later
→ Note: 10.3.9 and earlier not supported
Start up Missing Sync and make sure the USB icon in the connections toolbar is selected (highlighted blue). If it is not you need to click on it to start USB connection.

Connect the USB lead to your Mac followed by the small USB plug into the USB port on the side of Road Angel Navigator 7000.

After a brief pause, Missing Sync will automatically detect the Road Angel Navigator 7000.
The device is now connected and is ready to carry out an update (see update instructions).
