Android Phone or Tablet Requirements

  • Android OS 1.5, 1.6 or 2.0 and later - including the new Samsung Galaxy Tab, Barnes & Noble Nook Color*, Motorola Xoom, Google Nexus One and Motorola Droid (see exception below)
  • Bluetooth syncing requires Android OS 2.0 or later
  • Two-way calendar syncing requires Android OS 2.0 or later and Fliq Calendar (available free from the Android Market). One-way calendar sync supported on devices running Android OS 1.5 or 1.6. NOTE: Fliq Calendar requires Android OS 2.0 or later. (Fliq Calendar will not appear in the Android Market for phones running Android OS 1.5 or 1.6.)
  • The Missing Sync app must be installed on Android device (available free from the Android Market)
  • Notes sync requires Fliq Notes app (available free from the Android Market)
  • Tasks sync requires Fliq Tasks app (available free from the Android Market)
  • Bookmarks sync requires Fliq Bookmarks app (available free from the Android Market)
  • Third party software may be required to view documents and files transfered to the phone

Windows PC System Requirements

  • Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista (SP1), or Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
  • Windows Administrator Account required for installation and usage
  • .Net Framework 3.5
  • Apple iTunes 9.0 or later or Windows Media Player 11 required to sync music and podcasts¹
  • Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010² (full installation versions) must be installed and configured to sync contacts, calendars and tasks. Note: 64-bit installations of Office 2010 are not supported.
  • QuickTime, version 7 or later required to sync video
  • To sync via Wi-Fi, the Android phone and Windows PC must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network
  • To sync media files via USB, some Android devices require USB driver software to be installed on Windows in order to connect to a PC properly. Contact the manufacturer of your device, if the driver software is not automatically installed by Windows
  • Internet access required for product registration and device pairing

Mac System Requirements

  • Mac computer with an Intel processor, PowerPC not supported.
  • Mac OS X 10.5.6 Leopard or later, including Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard and

  • iTunes 7.4 or later required to sync music
  • iPhoto 5.0 or later required to sync photos
  • iCal 2.0.5 or higher required to sync calendars
  • Microsoft Entourage 2008 required to sync contacts, calendars, tasks and notes with Entourage
  • Outlook 2011 required to sync contacts, calendars and tasks with Outlook 2011. Service Pack 1 required to sync calendars and tasks.
  • QuickTime, version 7 or later required to sync video
  • To sync via Wi-Fi, the Android device and Mac must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network
  • Internet access required for product registration and device pairing

¹ Android phones cannot play protected music, video or ringtones. iTunes Plus music, tunes ripped from your own CDs, home movies you shoot with your video camera, and video digitized from DVDs you own will work just fine.
² Compatible with full installation versions of Outlook 2010.
