Verizon Droid X by Motorola Android-to-Desktop Synchronization Support Available in The Missing Sync for Android

Mark/Space announces update to The Missing Sync for Android with Droid X Support

Los Gatos, CA — July 19, 2010 — Mark/Space® released an update to their popular all-in-one Android PIM and media synchronization software, The Missing Sync® for Android. Version 1.4.2 provides phone-to-desktop synchronization of contacts, calendars, notes, music and much more between Android phones - such as the new Verizon Droid X by Motorola - and a Windows PC or Mac computer.

"We are committed to providing phone-to-desktop synchronization support for Android phones," said Mark/Space CEO Brian Hall. "In fact, our software provides sync features for every Android phone available today and many, many more phones soon to be available."

Synchronize contacts, calendar events, notes and tasks between an Android-powered phone and Microsoft Outlook on a PC or Address Book and iCal on a Mac. Data is synchronized wirelessly via Bluetooth or over a Wi-Fi network.¹

Transfer media files such as music, photos and video using a USB cable, over a Wi-Fi network, or via Bluetooth. The Missing Sync works with iTunes and Windows Media Player to automatically sync entire playlists of music to an Android phone.²

Other features in The Missing Sync include a built-in ringtone editor (to create ringtones from music), and archiving of text messages and a phone's call history.²

Mark/Space Proximity Sync, a feature unique to The Missing Sync software, keeps a computer and phone in sync wirelessly and automatically - without having to think about it.¹ Sync happens over a Wi-Fi network or via Bluetooth whenever the phone is near the computer.

The Missing Sync for Android software is available for Windows PC and Mac computers and supports phones running Android OS, such as the Google Nexus One, HTC EVO, and Verizon Droid X by Motorola.
