The Missing Sync for BlackBerry provides reliable synchronization of contacts, calendars, tasks and notes between a Mac running Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" and a BlackBerry handheld with a USB port. If you have a multimedia-capable BlackBerry Pearl or 8800 series device, The Missing Sync will also synchronize photos to and from iPhoto (or a folder on your Mac), plus podcasts and unprotected music from iTunes.
The Missing Sync for BlackBerry is priced at $39.95. If you already own another Missing Sync product for a PDA or smartphone device, then you can "crossgrade" to the new BlackBerry edition for only $19.95. If you have a BlackBerry, you will definitely want to check out The Missing Sync for BlackBerry.
SyncTogether 1.0.1 Update
SyncTogether, our Mac-to-Mac synchronization application for syncing contacts, calendars and more between Macs on a network, has been updated to v1.0.1. This free update, which introduces minor tweaks and fixes, is recommended for all owners of SyncTogether v1.0. You may download the SyncTogether 1.0.1 update and access complete release notes from the downloads page at markspace.com.
SyncTogether is perfect for the individual who uses multiple Macs and needs to keep important information-like contacts, calendars, tasks and notes-up to date across Macs. SyncTogether uses Apple's Sync Services technology (which is built right into Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger") to keep information from Address Book, iCal, Safari and even third party applications that also use Sync Services current across multiple Macs. With SyncTogether, you don't need a subscription, and it's easy to sync across a local network.
SyncTogether is also great for small groups of users, like teams at work or families at home, who want to share information or collaborate. SyncTogether lets you select individual calendars from iCal, like a project calendar, conference room schedule or family events and share them among multiple users.
Starting on April 6, 2007, Mark/Space will give away one copy of Bare Bones Software's Yojimbo, the effortless, reliable, information organizer for Mac OS X (a $40 value), each day for ten straight days. Winners will be drawn at random from all SyncTogether sales for each given day and will be notified via email.
Yojimbo is great for creating, categorizing and searching notes, and it's supported for syncing by SyncTogether, The Missing Sync for BlackBerry and The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile.
If you were thinking about buying SyncTogether, and you'd like a shot at winning a copy of Bare Bones Software's Yojimbo, now is the time to order SyncTogether!
In Beta: The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile 3.0.2
We're putting the finishing touches on a minor update to The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile, and we're looking for feedback on the beta. Specifically, the 3.0.2 beta introduces desktop passthrough (DTPT) support, which allows smartphones to sync without having to be placed in flight mode. This beta release also adds support for the HP iPAQ RX 19xx series and the Orange M3100.
If you'd like to try out DTPT for syncing out of flight mode, or if you have one of the newly supported devices, please visit the testing page on the Mark/Space website and take a look at the 3.0.2 beta of The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile.
