NEWS: Missing Sync 2.0 Released (Sony 300, 320, 610, 700, 710)

Missing Sync 2.0 was released 8/30/2001. This free upgrade for registered owners was sent out via email to all customers early in September, and has the following new features:

  • The ability to mount the memory stick on your Mac desktop (models 610 and 710). Just use the finder to drag and drop!
  • Now officially support models 320 and 610
  • A reference of available Mac OS conduits
  • A reference guide to the contents of the CDs shipped by Sony with each model CLIÉ

For registered customers that did not receive the update via email, please contact sales with your order number and place of purchase so that we may email the update to you.

We hope to add support for the desktop mounting feature to models 300 and 320 in the next update, as well as support this feature natively under OS X (all models). Stay tuned!

3. NEWS: PageNOW! 2.0.1 Mac OS Released (Personal Edition, Lite, Server)

A free update for owners of PageNOW! 2.0, version 2.0.1 was recently released with the following changes from version 2.0:

  • New: Plug-In for Colorado Mobile Paging
  • New: Plug-In for Ameritech Paging
  • Fixed: Extended size of the field for e-mail address for SMTP based paging (from 31 characters to 63 characters)

Step by Step instructions are provided for using your DataCord with an external modem or mobile phone to connect to the internet using an ISP with dial-up access, or using the Sprint or Verizon networks on mobile phones using those networks.
