| 3. UPDATED: DataCord Status Report - Visor and Cisco Router Cables
Since our last issue, we are pleased to announce that the first batch of DataCord HS (for Handspring Visor) have been shipped. We have already begun our second (and much larger) production run, due to arive in mid-December. We thank all those that have ordered, but did not get a cable out of the first batch for their patience. Sales of the DataCord HS exceeded our expectations, causing the initial batch to be sold out even before it arrived. We are now producing them in larger quantities so that in the future we should avoid any back-orders. We have also added a new branch to the family of DataCords. As of December, the DataCord DCx-CI will be a regular production item (it was previously a special order item). DCx-CI is wired for connecting a PalmOS device to a Cisco router via RJ45 connector. All cables are 3 feet in length, shielded, and feature high quality connectors with blackened metal thumbscrews. DataCord HS also includes the circuitry needed to make the Visor serial lines RS232 voltage level compliant. |

http://www.markspace.com/fax.html Version 1.0 sells for $29.95 ($14.95 for registered owners of the previous release - contact sales@markspace.com if you qualify). This will get you a registration code which you can start using now with the 1.0 public beta, and will continue to work for all 1.x versions. As always, we look forward to hearing your questions, comments, and wishes for future versions of all of our PalmOS Products, including Fax! |
