| 2. NEWS: PageNOW! 2.0 for MacOS
PageNOW! 2.0 for MacOS will be shown in public for the first time at Macworld expo and sports some exciting new features: New features:
PageNOW! Lite:PageNOW! 2.0 will be available in public beta form soon after this newsletter is posted. Orders/Upgrades placed for e-mail delivery starting July 17, 2000 will receive both a serial number and installer for version 1.6, and a registration code and download URL for both the 2.0 public beta and final version. Copies of PageNOW! 1.x purchased direct from Mark/Space on or after 4/1/2000 qualify for a free electronic upgrade (or may elect to pay a minimal fee (TBD) to receive a CD-ROM when the final version is posted). |
| 3. NEWS: Fax 1.0 for PalmOS
Mark/Space recently acquired DBFax, and there is plenty of exciting news: We have posted a public beta of version 1.0 with the following changes: (As compared to DBFax 0.2b3, the last wide release from David Bertrand)

| 4. UPDATED: DataCord Status Report
Since our last issue, we are pleased to announce that the DataCord 5 has joined the DataCord 3 in shipping, and that our first production samples of the DataCord HS (for Handspring Visor) have come back and passed testing. Now that the first samples have passed, we hope to start offering the DataCord HS for sale in August. The cables are designed for connection to modems, routers, and other serial devices that have a DB-9 or DB-25 connector and will be available in versions designed to connect to all of the currently available devices running PalmOS: Mark/Space DataCord 3: For the Palm III and Palm VII series (as well as the TRG Pro and Symbol 1500)The DataCord 3 and DataCord 5 are available now in limited quantities. Handspring Visor versions are projected to be available in August. All cables are 3 feet in length, shielded, and feature high quality connectors with blackened metal thumbscrews. DataCord HS also includes the circuitry needed to make the Visor serial lines RS232 voltage level compliant. --- "Mark/Space" and "DataCord" are trademarks of Mark/Space Softworks.
