Sync Notes and Tasks - New in The Missing Sync for Palm Pre
We've added new features in an update to The Missing Sync for Palm Pre, for Windows PC and Mac.
Version 1.2 adds notes and tasks synchronization making The Missing Sync for Palm Pre the most complete sync software for webOS phones, such as Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus.
To achieve synchronization of notes, we developed a full-featured notes app, Fliq Notes. Fliq Notes let's you take notes (big and small), edit them and organize them. Notes are synchronized between Fliq Notes and Microsoft Outlook on a PC, or to Mark/Space Notebook (included with The Missing Sync) on a Mac. The Missing Sync for Palm Pre works with Fliq Notes to perform a sync over a Wi-Fi network.
Tasks synchronization is performed using Fliq Tasks, our slick to do management app developed for webOS. With Fliq Tasks installed on a Pre or Pixi phone, tasks can be synchronized wirelessly - over a Wi-Fi network - with Outlook on a PC or iCal on a Mac.
Version 1.2 also adds a built-in ringtone editor to the Window PC version of The Missing Sync for Palm Pre, a feature currently available in the Mac version. Easily create ringtones from music and other audio files.
In addition to notes and tasks synchronization, The Missing Sync for Palm Pre syncs contacts and calendars via Wi-Fi and music, photos, video, ringtones, documents and podcasts fast using a USB cable.

HTC EVO and The Missing Sync for Android
The HTC EVO launched earlier this month breaking new records for Sprint first-day sales. And it's not surprising. The EVO's 4.3-inch touch screen, front- and back-facing cameras, HTC Sense UI on Android OS 2.1 and 4G support make it the most feature-rich and visually pleasing smartphone Sprint has to offer.
To coincide with the launch, we released a 1.4.1 handheld update to our #1 PC and Mac synchronization software for Android phones, The Missing Sync for Android, enhancing sync support for the HTC EVO and other Sense UI phones such as the Droid Incredible, HD2 and Hero.
The Missing Sync for Android also synchronizes contacts, calendars, notes, documents and media files between an Android phone and a Windows PC or Mac.
