Fliq at SXSW

The South by Southwest® (SXSW) Conferences & Festivals offer a unique convergence of original music, independent films, and emerging technologies. Year after year, the event has been a launching pad for new creative content. New media presentations, music showcases and film screenings provide buzz-generating exposure for creators, and compelling entertainment for audiences.

This year, tens-of-thousands attended SXSW from March 12th to the 22nd. During that time thousands of them used Fliq for the iPhone to exchange contact information - instead of passing business cards to one another.

Fliq is a free app for the iPhone that let's you instantly share contacts and photos with friends and co-workers via a Wi-Fi network - between iPhones, Macs and PCs. In the days of Palm PDAs, it was called "beaming". Today, we call it "Fliqing".

Sprint's HTC Touch Pro2 Gets Windows Mobile 6.5 Update
