How To Get Music On Your Android Phone
Android phones, like the Google Nexus One and Motorola Droid, make great music players, too.
How do you get music on your phone? If you search the internet, you'll find instructions about how to copy music to your phone, one file at a time - yikes!
Don't manually copy music. Sync it! The Missing Sync for Android syncs entire playlists of music from a PC or Mac to an Android phone.
Create playlists of your favorite music in Windows Media Player or iTunes. Then, in The Missing Sync, choose the playlists you want to transfer to your phone. Sync, and the playlists you selected are transferred to your phone for you.
Plus, sync podcasts, contacts, photos, video and documents, too.

Mystery Drawing Game - Using Fliq Notes
A teacher in Arlington, Virginia created a wonderful drawing game using free iPod touch apps.
Summary
Students are divided into groups, with each student having an iPod (or alternatively one iPod for each group). The teacher "beams" a word to the drawer. The drawer then draws a sketch to describe the word/concept. The other members of the group write down their guess on their own iPod doodle page. At the end of the time limit, all group members reveal their answers.
Preparation
Install Fliq Notes and iDoodleIt on all student and teacher iPods. Fliq Notes and iDoodleIt are available free from the iTunes App Store. The teacher creates the terms on his/her iPod using the Fliq Notes app.
How to Play
- Divide students into groups of 4-5.
- The teacher selects the drawer for each group, for this round.
- The drawers stand and start Fliq Notes so the teacher knows who should receive the word fro this round.
- The other students lay their iPods flat on the table with the iDoodleIt app open and cleared.
- The teacher sends the word to the drawers using Fliq Notes.
- The drawers start the iDoodleIt app.
- On the teacher's signal, the drawers begin sketching the word/concept as the countdown timer begins. The drawers may not communicate with group members except through the iDoodleIt page.
- When a group member thinks they know the word, they write the word on their own iDoodleIt page and wait for time to end.
- When time ends, all group members reveal their answers.
- The drawer then has one minute to explain the concept and the reason they drew what they did.
- The next drawer is selected and play continues.
Kudos to the teacher who created a fun game that combines technology and imagination!
