The Missing Sync for Sony PSP v1.0

4.5 Macworld Mice! The Missing Sync for Sony PSP turns your Sony Playstation Portable into a killer mobile media and information center by downloading web sites, bookmarks, videos, and important life information, such as your contacts, notes, tasks and calendar events, from your Mac. Easily. Automatically. With style.

GinsuBackup your Saved Games and Memory Sticks
Don't lose your place in an RPG, a high score in a platformer, or your settings for a shooter. The Missing Sync for Sony PSP will backup Saved Games to your Mac. It'll also backup all the other stuff on your Memory Sticks. Use The Missing Sync to keep a safe copy of your game stuff on your Mac.

Encode videoTransfer videos to your PSP
The Missing Sync not only encodes your favorite movie previews and viral videos from YouTube for optimized viewing on your PSP, but it also acts as a video library, helping you keep track of what's on your Mac and what's on your PSP. The Missing Sync even tracks multiple Memory Sticks independently, allowing you to keep different content on each stick. With The Missing Sync, you'll always have something that you want to watch (or show off) queued up and ready to go on your PSP.

iPod wannabeTake your tunes with you
Sync your iTunes playlists to your PSP with The Missing Sync.* When you're on the go, take your music with you too.

iPhotoSync iPhoto albums
Sync photos from one or more iPhoto albums to your PSP. Forget manually copying them to a Memory Stick. Just plug in the PSP and click the sync button. The Missing Sync will send your photos across automatically, sized to fit the screen of your PSP.

WebSnacksTake web pages with you
The PSP has Wi-Fi, sure, but what about when you're in a dead zone, like on the train or standing in line for a show? No problem. The Missing Sync's WebSnacks™ feature downloads your favorite blogs, MySpace pages, news sites, or most any website you can think of right to your PSP. So no matter where you are, you can view the downloaded web sites offline to keep informed or entertained. Every time you sync your PSP with your Mac, downloaded web pages are automatically updated. Web without Wi-Fi.

BookmarksYour Mac bookmarks are your PSP bookmarks too
While the PSP has an amazing web browser, its phone-like method of entering URLs is tedious. The Missing Sync helps you keep your sanity by copying over bookmarks from Safari, giving you easy access to all the incredibly useful sites that you access frequently. Because we make a web page out of your bookmarks, any folder hierarchy and sort order that you've set up is maintained on the PSP. Now, when you do have a signal, getting to your favorite sites is fast and painless.

Address BookiCalKeep your contacts and calendar handy
Ever wish you had your Address Book and iCal calendars with you, when all you had handy was your PSP? Now you can. Need an address that isn't in your phone? The Missing Sync builds and downloads gorgeously styled web pages that show your Address Book contacts list. All your numbers, email addresses and contact notes are right there in your PSP's Web Browser app. Even contact photos are included. The Missing Sync also copies your calendar schedule and task list to the PSP, so you will always know where you're supposed to be and with whom you're to hooking up.

Mark/Space NotebookBe a note taker
The Missing Sync for Sony PSP includes a new application we've been working on for storing all kinds of notes. It's called Mark/Space Notebook, and it can store text, URLs pictures and more. The Missing Sync's Notebook plugin will sync your text and graphic notes from Mark/Space Notebook to your PSP, giving you complete access to all the purposeful and random notes that you compile. When you need that specific tidbit of data, your PSP will have it handy.

ThemesLook good doing it
Selectable themes allow you to personalize how your PSP's Web Browser app shows your contacts, calendars, tasks, notes, bookmarks and notes. Choose from simple styles or more intricate themes complete with photo-realistic backgrounds. It's so cool you'll want to show your friends.

GinsuBut wait, there's more!
The Missing Sync for Sony PSP might not be able to cut through an aluminum can like those famous knives of lore, but it will sync folder contents from your Mac, giving you an electronic backpack capability. It also reminds you when to sync. The Missing Sync for Sony PSP is a Mac PSP toolkit!
