The Missing Sync for Palm OS has an easy-to-navigate interface that provides quick access to the most-used features.
With one click, you can turn conduits on or off, change connection types and check the Sync History.
The zoomed view takes up less screen real estate and still provides control over the most-used features. Drag-and-drop
support for .zip, .sit, and folders containing Palm application and data files. Handheld and memory card icons display the number of files
ready to install to each area.
The Missing Sync's setup assistants help you adjust conduit settings, based on the answers to a few easy questions.
Re-run the setup assistants at any time by choosing them from the Help menu.
Not only does The Missing Sync provide selective syncing of contact groups, but it also synchronizes all fields from
the handheld, including home and work addresses, IM addresses, birthdays and more.
The new Notes conduit included with v6.0 will sync with either the bundled Mark/Space Notebook application, Microsoft
Entourage 2004 or Bare Bones Software's Yojimbo.
The Mark/Space iTunes Conduit allows one or more playlists to be synchronized to your device, even those that select
songs randomly. You can choose playlists, where to store them and how much space to leave available. Only those audio file formats supported by
the player software on the device are downloaded.
The Mark/Space Photos conduit copies photos from selected iPhoto albums to your device. It will even scale your photos for
optimum viewing. Pictures taken with camera-enabled Palm OS devices can be copied to a specified folder on your Mac, or they can be imported
directly into an iPhoto album.
Getting videos from your Treo to your Mac is a cinch. Just turn on importing and pick a destination folder or iTunes playlist
on your Mac. Your videos will then be imported during the next sync operation.
Version 6.0 also lets you transfer videos from the Mac to your Treo, so you can watch them when you're mobile. Drag and drop
videos to encode and size them for your Treo, and The Missing Sync will download them during the next sync operation.
Access your Treo's call history on your Mac. The Missing Sync grabs the data and loads it up in the included Call Log application
for Mac OS X.
SMS messages are backed up to the Mac during sync operations, and they can now be viewed on the Mac using the included SMS Log
application.
Install files or applications to internal or card memory. Choose destinations simply by dragging files to the desired target window.
Drag-and-drop support for .zip, .sit and folders containing Palm application and data files.
Conduit Profiles let you save groups of one or more conduits to run at sync time. Here, a user is selecting the Contacts & Calendars
profile they've created, to only run the Contacts, Events and Tasks conduits when they next kick off a sync.
