Missing Sync for Windows Mobile 4.0: Known Leopard Issues
At this time, we have confirmed a number of Leopard-related issues reported by customers and discovered by our testing:
  • Problems connecting to Windows Mobile 2003 devices
  • Establishing a USB connection is difficult or unrealiable with many devices
  • File Sync settings do not open [FIXED in 4.0.2 b2]
  • After restoring from a TimeMachine backup (containing Missing Sync private data), items created on the device since the backup are not sync'd to the desktop. [FIXED in 4.0.2 b1]
  • Closing Bookmark settings causes the application to crash [FIXED in 4.0.2 b2]
  • Attempting a Bluetooth connection often causes a crash [FIXED in 4.0.2 b1]
  • Application hangs after wake from sleep [FIXED in 4.0.2 b1]
  • Extraneous network adapters being created [FIXED in 4.0.2 b1]
  • Unable to mount a device [For now, mounting disabled in b4]
  • Error "Cannot open Monitor, Missing Sync cannot open its Monitor application. Cannot make connection" on launch of application, followed by crash [FIXED in 4.0.2 b2]
  • Problems connecting to Windows Mobile 2003 devices [FIXED in 4.0.2 b6]
  • Problems connecting via Bluetooth to Windows Mobile 5 and 6 devices [FIXED in 4.0.2 b6]
  • Establishing a USB connection is difficult or unrealiable with many devices [FIXED in 4.0.2 b6]
  • Intermittent application hang at launch

A beta version of Missing Sync for Windows Mobile is available that addresses these issues.
